Julie Starr is a coach and consultant with over 20 years experience in business and change management. She is the author of The Coaching Manual which defines the key principles and practice of personal coaching. She provides coaching support to senior leadership of major corporations across Europe.
Her second book, Brilliant Coaching is aimed at Managers coaching in business, and distils the key principles and tools in a practical format for the busy manager.
She is the founder of Starr Consulting, who work with applications of coaching in business.
Julie combines many years of coaching in practice with a constant study of human success and fulfillment. She is a master practitioner of NLP, with extensive training in emotional intelligence, transformational leadership and linguistics.
Julie builds on an early career in project management and larger scale business redesign initiatives. She speaks regularly at conferences and delivers master classes on accredited coaching programmes.
She believes;
‘Coaching is an effective response to many of the questions organisations face right now, like ‘how do we really engage people?’ Or ‘how do we encourage openness and trust?’ As a style of influence it’s a core tool of leadership, as a way of raising the awareness and responsibilities within communities, it’s essential for the challenges ahead.
