Anyone who is a parent or who is caring for children (grandparents, extended family members, carers or teaching staff) who is interested in acquiring some simple, practical coaching skills for use in family life.
Coaching Skills for Parents is not about telling parents how to do it. The programme is about using coaching skills in a family context and focuses on the needs of parents as well as the needs of children. The programme is for parents, not children. It is not targeted at any particular age-group of children but does acknowledge that the challenges and joys of parenting change as children grow from infants to adolescents. This course has been designed to meet the needs of parents as they face up to the daily challenges of bringing up their families.
There is no role more important than that of being a parent.
There is no role more challenging than that of being a parent.
There is no other role that is likely to bring with it such a roller-coaster of emotions!
