Constellations Foundations for Coaches - 26th October

This introductory session covering the Foundations of Constellations, will introduce you to both the practicalities and the power of this mysterious work. I am often asked to explain the Constellations approach in coaching or supervision, but it is essentially 3 dimensional and experiential – so this session will offer you the chance to work together, developing your feel for Constellations and learning three techniques to take away and use with your clients.

Suitable for:

This course is suitable for coaches wishing to refresh their knowledge of Constellations work, and also those with no prior experience. It will be valuable to those with a coaching or a therapy background.

Delivery Method:

This session will be fully interactive – with Constellations techniques explained, time for you to try them out and group discussions on how to make them work optimally online. We will also explore the kind of client issues these approaches would be suitable for.

Outline Content:

You will work placing objects and post it notes in relation to a boundary, allowing different perspectives to reveal new thinking. We will work through three key exercises together and share our experience of the impact of these.

  • The Peacock’s Tail and Belongings
  • Mapping your System
  • Building 3D Constellations successfully online

Participants will gain:

  • Three practical and creative Constellations tools to take away and use with their clients
  • Confidence to weave Constellations work into their current coaching practice
  • An understanding of the background and history of this work
  • An experience of using Constellations in online coaching

To participate in this workshop you will need a table top, a piece of string or wool, some small arrow post it-notes or post-it notes with a direction marked on them, and a selection of about 10 random objects from the room you are in. Full instructions will be sent on enrolement.
